General Information
Alkaloids are synthesized by certain plants, which are ‘potential natural insecticides’. This formulation contains alkaloids isolated
from some common plants employing traditional fermentation technology. Surface-active
agents and carbonates help the formulation enhance its efficacy when applied.

Mode of Action
This formulation disperses, spreads and activates. Alkaloids
are physiologically active. It blocks the metabolic functions of pathogens, thereby
rendering them lifeless. The surface-active agents help the spray spread evenly
and activate the functions of alkaloids. It also helps the spray remain active for longer time. Apart from the above, the growth promoting substances in the botanical nutrients work as a tonic instantly
rejuvenating the effected plants to a healthy and productive state.
Spray Coverage
Good spray coverage is essential for adequate results. Spray
equipment must be clean and operating at peak efficiency. The proper configuration of nozzles for good coverage must be utilized
in order to wet both sides of the leaves and other affected areas. Spray in the
evening or early morning hours to improve the effectiveness, as the spray droplets
do not dry out quickly.
Dosage
2-3 gms / ml per litre of water depending on the infestation rate.

Method of Analysis
The formula is tested at reputed laboratories on a regular basis.
Phyto-toxicity
Over dose may cause a burn on the foliage of some sensitive plants, due to the presence of surfactants
in the formula. Multiple applications in a short time interval can aggravate phyti-toxicity.
A small spray strip should be applied and observed before a full-scale application is made if there is a question concerning
sensitivity.
Product Safety
Though
the formulation is low toxic, it should be used with caution. It may cause skin irritation and temporary eye injury. Wear
protective gears when handling. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.
Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse. If in eyes, hold eyelids
open and flush with a steady, gentle stream of water for 15 minutes. If on skin,
wash with plenty of soap water. Get medical attention. Environmental Hazard: Do not contaminate water by cleaning equipment.
